The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 406, 420, 409, 120B and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the total amount of Rs.3.28 lacs approx meant for scholarship of the students of Madarsa are said to have been misappropriated by the petitioner. Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation, the evidence primarily documentary in nature, chargesheet having been submitted in the case, the petitioner not having any criminal antecedent and being in custody since 2.6.2021 ie for more than 8 months, the Court directs the petitioner to be enlarged on bail in connection with Supaul P.S. Case no.62 of 2019 on furnishing

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50083 of 2021(2) dt.24-02-2022 2/2 bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Supaul.
