JUSTICE ANJANI KUMAR SHARAN ORAL ORDER 08-09-2021 Heard the parties through virtual court proceedings. Learned counsel for the petitioners undertakes to remove the defects, as pointed out by the office, within four weeks of resumption of normal court proceeding. In the eventuality of nonremoval of defects within undertaken period, the office will place the matter before the Bench.

This application is for modification of order dated 05.03.2020 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 72902 of 2019 whereby the petitioners were allowed anticipatory bail in connection with Chakia P.S. Case No. 199 of 2019. However, the petitioners could not furnish bail bond within time due to COVID-19.

For substantial justice, further four weeks' time is allowed to the petitioners to furnish bail bonds with condition that the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51163 of 2021(2) dt.08-09-2021 2/2 petitioners shall deposit Rs. 2,000/- (Two Thousand) in the Victim Compensation Fund and shall produce receipt of the same at the time of furnishing of the bail bond.
