This is a petition for grant of regular bail for offence under Section 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is father-in-law of the victim lady. Allegation is that murder was committed for dispute relating to sharing the compensation amount awarded to the family in the land acquisition matter. There is no eye witness of the occurrence of the murder.

Considering the fact that only material against the petitioner is suspicion and there is no reason for further detention of the petitioner as under-trial prisoner, hence, the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each in connection with Sessions Trial No. 678 of 2016 arising out of Saraiya P.S. Case No. 165 of 2016 to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge, XII,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.18313 of 2017 (3) dt.19-06-2017 2/2 Muzaffarpur, or successor Court with the condition that the petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the bail bond of the petitioner shall be cancelled by the Court below itself.
