ANJANA MISHRA ORAL ORDER 22-08-2019 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State. On the earlier occasion, this Court had been pleased to issue notice to O.P. No.2, who has accepted the same, but is unable to appear before this Court. The petitioner, being the husband, is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No.C 461 of 2017 for allegedly having committed the offence under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite the allegation made against the petitioner, he is willing and ready to keep the complainant-wife with all

There being no opposition of his prayer for bail, the order dated 19.06.2019 granting provisional bail to the petitioner shall stand confirmed.

It is made clear that if at all there are any incidences of mental or physical torture being inflicted on O.P. No.2, it shall be open to her to seek appropriate recourse, including moving this Court for modification/cancellation of this order.
