The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Baijnathpur P.S. Case No.100 of 2025 registered for the offence under sections 190, 191(2), 191(3), 115(2), 126(2), 118(1), 109, 303, 351(2) and 352 of the B.N.S., 2023.

The petitioner and his brother are said to have assaulted the victim with a knife causing grievous injuries. 4.

The petitioner is in custody since 01.04.2026.

Considering the nature of allegation levelled against the petitioner, I am not inclined to grant bail to the

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.40683 of 2026(2) dt.24-06-2026 2/2 petitioner. Accordingly, this bail application is rejected. 6.

It is, however, clarified that the observations made herein are limited to the adjudication of the present bail application and shall not prejudice the case of the petitioner at any subsequent stage of the trial and this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
