The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in a case registered under sections 302, 143, 147, 149, 341 and 323 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, the eight named accused persons including the petitioner herein are stated to have come armed with lathi, danda etc. and of having assaulted the daughter of the informant leading to internal injury. She became unconscious. It is stated that on the next day while taking her to the hospital, she died on way. The cause of occurrence is stated to be that the informant had got the marriage of the daughter of accused Ram Rahesh Das solemnized in U.P.

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.50114 of 2021(2) dt.23-02-2022 2/2 that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in the case. The allegation against the eight named accused persons are general and omnibus in nature. The petitioner is in custody since 16.6.2021 and chargesheet has been submitted in the case. The petitioner has no criminal antecedent.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature of allegation together with chargesheet having been submitted in the case and the petitioner having remained in custody for more than 8 months, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Dulhin Bazar P.S. Case no. 171 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Danapur, Patna.
