The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Marhowrah P.S. Case No. 377/2020 instituted for the offences under Sections 30, 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016. On the secret information, a raid was conducted in the village Bardahiya Dih but seeing the police party, about 12 to 13 persons fled away. However from the houses of some of the co-accused persons, there was recovery of liquor. The petitioner has been named by one of the arrested accused persons, namely, Umashankar Rai. Apart from the

Nothing has been recovered from his possession or from his house. Considering the aforesaid facts and the clean antecedents of the petitioner, he is directed to be released on bail, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the court below within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt / production of a copy of this order, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned 02nd A.D.J.-cum-Special Judge, Excise, Saran, Chhapra, in connection with Marhowrah P.S.
