2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Teghra P.S. Case No. 226 of 2015 registered for the offence under Sections 448, 120(B), 34, 147, 149, 384, 386 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 17, 18 and 10 of the UAP Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner, along with others, is involved in the construction of a statue of a Naxalite.
4. The FIR is of the year 2015 and the petitioner is in custody since 17.04.2026. It appears that the petitioner is an absconder. The allegations against the petitioner are serious and grave in nature. There exists prima facie material against the petitioner indicating his involvement in the commission of the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.41357 of 2026(2) dt.25-06-2026 2/2 offence.
5. Considering the allegations levelled against the petitioner, the nature of the accusation and the fact that the petitioner is an absconder, this Court is not inclined to grant regular bail to the petitioner.
6. Accordingly, this application for regular bail stands dismissed. The petitioner is granted liberty to renew his prayer for bail after framing of charge.
7. It is made clear that any observation made herein is prima facie in nature and limited solely for the purpose of adjudication of the present bail application. Such observations shall not be construed as an expression on the merits of the case and shall not influence the trial or any other proceedings in any manner.
