2. The petitioner has prayed for regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 80 and 3(5) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.

3. The case of the prosecution in short is that the sister of the informant, namely, Neha Kumari (now the deceased) was married to Mukesh Ram, Son of Kishor Ram. It is alleged that on 05.12.2024 a call was received on the mobile of informant's mother that Neha Kumari is ill. It is further alleged that when they went to the matrimonial house of Neha Kumari, they found that she was dead. It is alleged that she has been killed due to demand of dowry.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38900 of 2025(3) dt.03-09-2025 2/2 that the petitioner is mother-in-law of the deceased and from perusal of the post-mortem it will transpire that the cause of death is Asphyxia due to strangulation and some injuries were also found on the person of the deceased. The petitioner is an old lady having clean antecedent and in judicial custody since 06.12.2024.

5. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State has vehemently opposed the prayer of bail to the petitioner.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the fact that the main thrust of allegation is against the husband who is already in jail, this court is inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. The above named petitioner is directed to be released on bail in connection with Jiradei P.S. Case No. 183 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, Siwan.
