This application for grant of regular bail arises out of Excise Masaurhi P.S. Case No.229 of 2024 registered for the offence punishable under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

The recovery is of 90 litres of illicit liquor from the motorcycle of the petitioner.

The petitioner is in custody since 20.04.2024. He has clean antecedent.

Considering the period of custody of the petitioner and also the fact that he has clean antecedent, this bail application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Exclusive Special Excise Judge, 2nd, Patna, in connection with Excise Masaurhi P.S. Case No.229 of 2024. 7.

This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner shall mark his presence in Masaurhi Police Station, District- Patna on first and third Sunday of each month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would be result in cancellation of the bail bonds of the petitioner. (Sandeep Kumar, J) pawan/- U T
