The petitioner, already in custody, seeks bail in connection with Goh P.S.Case No. 34 of 2000 registered under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 364 and 302 of the Indian penal Code, 17 of Criminal Law Amendment Act and 27 of the Arms Act.
This is a case of misuse of privilege of bail of five years, so having considered the period of misuse of bail as well as stage of the case, the Court is not persuaded to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, the application stands rejected.
