On getting confidential information, raid was conducted at the hut of Bhutali Mukhiya as well as Vyas Mukhiya wherefrom so many persons escaped seeing the police out of whom some were apprehended including the petitioner. From the hut 35 litres of countrymade wine along with three motorcycles were seized. Though petitioner has got criminal antecedent however, considering the period of detention since 28.08.2016 coupled with the nature of allegation, petitioner Ranjan Kumar is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran in connection with Sathi P.S. Case No.111/2016.
