Petitioner, Rita Devi, is in custody since 29.06.2016 in Barachatty P.S. Case No. 224 of 2016 registered under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 47(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act.

According to the prosecution case, from the house of the present petitioner, Rita Devi, 6 liters country-made liquor were recovered.

Considering the quantity of recovery and the petitioner is a lady, I direct the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 5,000/- (Five Thousand rupees only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned A.C.J.M. Sherghaty (Gaya) in connection with Barachatty P.S. Case No. 224 of 2016.
