The petitioners seek bail in connection with Kateya Police Station Case No 247 of 2016 instituted for the offence under Sections 147, 341, 323, 307 of Indian Penal Code. From the written report, it appears that there is no specific allegation of any overt act against these petitioners. They were merely alleged to be present with the other accused persons. Petitioners are said to be in custody since 23.01.2017. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of the petitioners for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioners above named be released on bail on each of them furnishing bonds

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.19835 of 2017 (2) dt.05-05-2017 2/2 of Rs 10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gopalganj in Kateya Police Station Case No 247 of 2016 subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioners.
