The petitioner seeks bail in Laukahi P.S. Case No. 81/2019, instituted for offence under Section(s) 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code read with Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

It is alleged in the written report that on getting secret information, police party raided the house of petitioner and recovered total 444.600 litres of Nepali Liquor. Seizure-list bears signature of petitioner.

In view of recovery of huge quantity of Nepali liquor, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to petitioner at this stage. Accordingly, prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.38857 of 2019(2) dt.01-07-2019 2/2 Petitioner will be at liberty to renew prayer for bail after completing six months in custody if no substantial progress is made in trial.
