JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-01-2024 The learned counsel for the petitioner has been filed seeking the following relief:- "1. That this is an application for issuance of an appropriate writ/ writs, order/ orders, direction/ directions to the respondent authorities to appoint/ select the petitioner as Anganbari Sevika at the Anganbari Centre of Ward No. 5 of VillageBandhuganj Block Ghosi, District- Jehanabad as the same is lying vacant on account of removal of the Anbganbari Sevika of that Centre whose selection in course of inquiry conducted in pursuance of the order passed by this hon'ble court in CWJC No. 18767/2019 was found illegal as her selection had been made ignoring the
Patna High Court CWJC No.15625 of 2021(2) dt.18-01-2024 2/2 eligibility of the petitioner who being a candidate belonging to the OBC category was competent for selection but she was deprived of from opportunity of being selected as Anganbari Sevika of aforesaid Anganbari Centre because the selection committee undue favour to that Anganbari Sevika and selected her even though she was not belonging to the majority class of the people living in that area."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioner to avail such other alternative remedies as are otherwise available under the law including that of filing a suit before the learned Civil Court having competent jurisdiction. Liberty, so sought, is granted. 3.
