1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.
2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of anticipatory bail apprehending her arrest in connection with Paliganj P.S. Case no. 9 of 2024 registered under sections 304B, 201 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. As per the prosecution case, the informant states that she married her daughter to one Manoranjan Singh @ Pintu Singh about four years back. Gifts were given at the time of marriage, however soon after the marriage, the six named accused persons including the petitioner herein who happens to be the mother-in-law of the deceased started to abuse, assault and torture the daughter of the informant and finally she was

4. Learned Senior counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner, who is the mother-in-law of the deceased, has been falsely implicated in the case. Referring to the order of the learned trial Court rejecting the application for bail of the petitioner it is submitted that the material that has transpired in course of investigation has been discussed therein. The allegations against the petitioner are general and omnibus in nature. The husband of the deceased is in custody and as per oral instructions received, the husband of this petitioner has also been enlarged on regular bail. The petitioner who is an old lady has no criminal antecedent and undertakes to cooperate in the case.
5. The application for anticipatory bail is opposed by learned A.P.P. for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the general and omnibus allegations against this petitioner in the F.I.R. together with the contents of the order of the learned trial Court, the husband of the deceased being in custody and petitioner not having any criminal antecedent, it is directed that the petitioner, above named, in the event of her arrest or surrender before the learned Court below
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.42951 of 2024(2) dt.20-07-2024 3/3 within a period of four weeks, be released on anticipatory bail in connection with Paliganj P.S. Case no. 9 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Sub Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Danapur, DistrictPatna.
