The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Dumariyaghat P.S. Case No.53 of 2018 for the offences punishable under Section(s) 272, 273 420, 467, 468, 471, 34 of the Indian Penal Code and 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.
Allegation of the prosecution is that there is recovery of 253 litres of the liquor from a car. Petitioner is said to be the driver. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and is merely the driver and he was not knowing as to what had been loaded in the car by the owner of the car. The learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (rupees Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise Act, East Chamapran, Motihari in connection with Dumariyaghat P.S.
