JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 01-08-2018 Earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was dismissed vide order dated 08.08.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 35396 of 2017 on merit, in connection with Dhamdaha P.S. Case No. 2 of 2017 and petitioner is husband of the deceased and allegation against him is of causing her death for demand of dowry. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that he has been in custody for one and half years and uptil now the trial has not commenced.

Heard learned A.P.P. also.

Having heard both sides, earlier a report was called for from the concerned court below with regard to stage of trial, from which, it appears that other accused persons are not appearing and as such the trial has not commenced. In such view of the matter, I

However, the trial court is directed to expedite the trial as soon as possible even by conducting the same on day to day basis.
