The petitioner seeks bail in Rajeev Nagar P.S. Case No.179 of 2016, G.R. No.5594 of 2016 instituted for the offences under Sections 341, 323, 354, 504 and 506/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per First Information Report petitioner appears to be very tormented and has behaved mercilessly with the lady informant. It has been alleged that petitioner has assaulted and molested the victim, he happens to be the member of police force.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that there is dispute with regard to money transaction between them and

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45790 of 2016 (2) dt.22-10-2016 on that ground cases and counter cases have been lodged by both sides. It has further been stated that of course in the first paragraph of the FIR allegation is very serious but in the last paragraph itself the same discloses the reason of dispute. He has further submitted that FIR was not lodged on the same day but on the next day the same was lodged.

Looking to the nature of allegation, this Court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly the prayer for bail is rejected. However, trial court is directed to expedite the trial.
