In this case, the petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Sessions Trial No.868 of 2014, arising out of Karakat P.S. Case No.195 of 2014, registered for the offence punishable under Section 302 of the Indian Penal Code and under Section 3(2) (III) (V) (X) of S.C. /S.T. Act. Earlier, the petitioner has moved before this Court for bail in Criminal Miscellaneous No.48209 of 2015, but the same was rejected vide order dated 02.11.2015 and direction was given to the Court below to expedite the trial within a period of nine months.

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.45721 of 2016 (3) dt.23-11-2016 2/2 This Court has received the report from the Additional District and Sessions Judge-1, Rohtas at Sasaram, by which it has been informed that four witnesses have been examined and rest two witnesses are yet to be examined by the Court below. The Court below has sought three months time for concluding the trial.

In such view of the matter, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail is rejected. Three months' time is granted to the Court below for concluding the trial.
