Petitioner, already in custody since 10.3.2018 seeks bail in Sadar PS Case No. 96 of 2018 registered under Sections 341, 342, 324, 326, 307, 34 of the IPC and Section 27 of the Arms Act. The allegation in brief is that the accused persons knocked the door of the informant, when he came out he was shot at his face by the petitioner and it is alleged that he had taken loan from the informant and not repaying the same and therefore he committed the offence.

Submission is that the petitioner was apprehended from his house, it is a case of false implication.

Whereas learned Counsel for the State submits that there is specific accusation against the petitioner and corresponding fire arm injury was found on the face of the informant. Having considered the said facts and circumstances, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite the trial and preferably conclude the same within a period of nine months and if the same is not concluded the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
