This is an application for bail in connection with Kashichak (Shahpur) P.S.Case No. 8 of 2017 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 394, 411 of the Indian Penal Code and 25( 1 b) a, 26 & 35 of the Arms Act. Allegation against the petitioner is of recovery of one country made pistol and cartridges from his possession and he has been arrested at the spot and handed over to police. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that petitioner has clean antecedent and, as a matter of fact, the accident took place with the vehicle of the petitioner and of the informant in course of overtaking and, as such, some dispute arose and he has falsely been implicated in this case and he is in custody for about three months.

Having heard both sides and in view of allegation, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. However, as the petitioner is in custody, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial of the petitioner and try to conclude the same within a period of nine months. If the trial is not concluded within the said period, the petitioner may renew his prayer for bail.
Accordingly, this application is dismissed.
