2. Having regard to the fact that the petitioner is a retired employee and has a grievance with regard to non-payment of his over time bill for the period April 2008 to January 2011 and again for the period February 2011 to May 2012, this Court is not inclined to interfere in the matter keeping in view that the petitioner was a workman of the Bihar State Electricity Board and thus governed by the certified standing order.

3. If a workman is aggrieved in the matter of payment of wages which would also include over time being the total of the

Patna High Court CWJC No.9349 of 2015 (2) dt.03-07-2015 2/2 wages for extra work done, he has a remedy under the payment of Wages Act/Industrial Disputes Act before the competent Labour Court.

4. In that view of the matter, this writ application is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to avail remedy as may be available to him in law.
