The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Amour P.S. Case No.27 of 2025 registered for the offence under sections 8(c) and 21(b) and 25 of the N.D.P.S. Act.

About 50 bottles of codeine syrup, each containing 100 ml., have been recovered from a scooty. 4.

The petitioner is in custody since 26.01.2025. He is accused in one more criminal case i.e. Kasba P.S. Case No. 171 of 2017.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody of the petitioner, this application is allowed.

Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, N.D.P.S. Act, Purnea / concerned Court below, in connection with Amour P.S. Case No.27 of 2025.

At the time of accepting the bail bonds of the petitioner, the Court below shall verify the criminal antecedent of the petitioner. The bail bonds of the petitioner shall only be accepted by the Court below if it is found that the petitioner is not accused in any other case save and except the present case as well as Kasba P.S. Case No.171 of 2017.

This is also subject to the condition that the petitioner will mark his attendance in Amour Police Station, District- Purnea on every Sunday of the month. Any default in appearance at the Police Station would result in cancellation of bail bonds of the petitioner.
