The petitioner is in custody in connection with Karja P.S. Case No. 9 of 2019 for the offenses under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that allegation against the petitioner is that he was in hold in snatching the purse of the mother of the informant. Nothing was recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner. It is alleged that accused persons were retaining the purse and apprehended by the passenger and local person near Tedhi Bridge. The accused persons fled away throwing the purse near this petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 22.01.2019. Considering the fact that the petitioner has remained
