Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Section 30(A) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

Recovery of liquor is alleged from the road side. Petitioner was not there at the time of recovery. Petitioner has stated on oath that he has got no criminal antecedent and has no concern with the recovered liquor. Petitioner is in custody since 28.09.2020. Investigation of the case is already complete. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.37137 of 2020(2) dt.02-02-2021 2/2 with Excise Case No.498 of 2019 arising out of Agion Bazar P.S. Case No.24 of 2019 with following conditions: (a) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.

(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.
