The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Khudwan P.S. Case No. 08 of 2018, registered for the offence punishable under Sections 304(B)/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The allegation is regarding the accused persons having killed the victim lady on account of non-fulfillment of the demand for dowry.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the father-in-law of the victim lady and he has got nothing to do with the victim lady or her husband since he is staying separately. It is further submitted that in any view of the matter, since the husband is already in custody, no prejudice would be caused if, the petitioner is granted bail. The petitioner
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30678 of 2018(4) dt.19-07-2018 2/2 is stated to be having a clean antecedent and he is languishing in custody since 07.03.2018.
Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case, I deem it fit and proper to enlarge the petitioner on regular bail. Accordingly, the above named petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Daudnagar (Aurangabad) in connection with Khudwan P.S. Case No. 08 of 2018.
