The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case for the offence registered under Sections 498(A), 341, 323/34 of the IPC and 3⁄4 of the D.P. Act.

The prosecution story, in brief, is that the accused persons including the petitioner tortured the victim due to nonfulfilment of demand of dowry. Today, both the petitioner and the opposite party no. 2 are present in the Court. It has been submitted by learned

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.26344 of 2018 (4) dt.16-05-2018 2/2 counsels for the petitioner and the opposite party no. 2 that the matter has already been settled between them and they have decided to reside together.

Considering the submissions made on behalf of petitioner and opposite party no. 2, let the petitioner above named, in the event of arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of six weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari, in connection with Motihari Town P.S. Case No. 60 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
