The present writ petition has been filed for quashing the order dated 15.12.2011 published on the website of Water Resources Department with regard to NIT No. 05/2011-12 dated 19.10.2011 in respect of Work Serial No. 02 - Earth Work from 0.0 Km. to 1.35 Km., Brick lining work from 0.0Km. to 1.0 Km. and construction of 2 Nos. H/R & 1 No. C.D. in Disty. No. 8 of Karmnasha Pump Canal Scheme by the office of the Executive Engineer, Zamania Pump Canal Division, Ramgarh whereby the financial bid of the petitioner was not considered.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly states that the relevant agreement contemplated a period of one year and three months for completion of the work, which has already elapsed.
4. In that view of the mater, the prayer in the writ petition has been rendered infructuous by efflux of time and no positive relief can be granted at this belated stage.
5. The writ application is accordingly dismissed as having become infructuous.
