The three petitioners herein are brothers-in-law, and father-in-law of the victim. They are facing accusations punishable under Sections 304(B) and 201/34 of the Indian Penal Code vide Sarairanjan ( Ghatho) P.S. case no. 82 of 2014. Within two years of marriage of the sister of the informant she was done to death in the suspicious circumstance on account of non fulfillment of demand of dowry. The body was consigned to the nearby pond. When the body floated the same was retrieved and the post mortem was conducted. Contention of the petitioners is that they have no
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.41970 of 2014 (3) dt.21-04-2015 2/2 concerned with the husband who has already surrendered. Learned counsel for the State has, however, opposed. He points out from the impugned order that in course of investigation witnesses have supported the prosecution case. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, in my view, petitioners do not deserve anticipatory bail. Prayer is rejected. In case they surrender and pray for regular bail before the Court below, the same shall be considered and disposed of on its own merit in accordance with law.
