JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 09-08-2023 The present application has been filed for modification of the order dated 14.07.2022, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 66002 of 2021 for extension of period of surrender.

2. It is submitted that earlier petitioner was granted anticipatory bail by order dated 14.07.2022, passed in Cr. Misc. No. 66002 of 2021, whereby petitioner was directed to surrender before the court below within a period of six weeks from the date of order, but due to lack of information, petitioner could not surrender in the court below and furnish the bail bond within the stipulated time.

3. For the reasons assigned in the application, four weeks further time from the date of receipt of this order is allowed to the petitioner to surrender in the court below, subject

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52835 of 2023(2) dt.09-08-2023 2/2 to deposit of Rs. 5,000/- to the District Legal Services Authority. At the time of surrender, the petitioner shall furnish the receipt showing deposit of Rs. 5,000/- to the District Legal Services Authority.

4. This modification application is accordingly, allowed.
