The petitioner apprehends his arrest in Mahila P.S. Case No. 14 of 2022, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 493/34 of the Indian Penal Code. As per the prosecution case, on the pretext of marriage this petitioner established physical relation with the informant and refused to marry her.

It submitted that both parties are major and they had consensual relation. FIR has been lodged after delay of three months. Petitioner claims clean antecedent.

Considering the facts aforesaid and gravity of offence, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner above-named on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected. (Prabhat Kumar Singh, J) vinita/- U T
