The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Hussainganj P. S. Case No. 113 of 2016 registered under Section 47 of Bihar Excise Amended Act, 2016. It is contended that though no recovery of liquor was made from the possession of the petitioner, he has been arrested in this case on suspicion and remanded in judicial custody.

On the other hand, learned counsel for the State has submitted that 18 litres country-made liquor was recovered from a bag in possession of the petitioner.
