1. Heard learned counsel for the parties.

2. The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in connection with Khagaria P.S Case no. 378 of 2024 registered under section 307 of the Indian Penal Code and section 27 of the Arms Act.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner, who happens to be the nephew of the informant, is said to have fired upon the informant leading to the informant sustaining gunshot injury in his leg.

4. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 11.4.2025 (Annexure-P-1) passed in Cr. Misc. no. 2920 of 2025 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer

The petitioner has remained in custody since 30.7.2024 and charge has been framed against the petitioner in the learned trial Court on 23.5.2025 as would be evident from the order brought on record as Annexure-P-4 to the petition. The petitioner undertakes to cooperate in the trial.

5. The application for bail is opposed by learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the allegations against the petitioner in the FIR, liberty granted to the petitioner in the aforesaid order of rejection dated 11.4.2025, charge having been framed against the petitioner in the learned trial Court on 23.5.2025 and the petitioner having remained in custody since 30.7.2024, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Khagaria P.S Case no. 378 of 2024 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Khagaria.
