JUSTICE PRABHAT KUMAR SINGH ORAL ORDER 22-02-2022 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the State. The petitioner prays for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 498A/304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code.

As per the prosecution case, petitioner and his family members killed the informant's daughter for non-fulfilment of demand of dowry.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been made accused in this case because he is the husband of the deceased. However, during trial in the deposition (Annexure 3), PW 1, father of the victim who is informant of the case has not supported the prosecution case. Petitioner is in custody since 20.8.2019.

Let the petitioner, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge VII, Saran at Chapra in Sessions Trial No. 666 of 2019.
