Petitioner is accused in connection with Katihar Muffasil P.S. Case No. 60 of 2016 registered under Section 392 of the I.P.C.

On 22nd April, 2016, three unknown criminals snatched purse of the informant, while she was on the way. The F.I.R. was lodged against unknown. The name of the petitioner transpired at the belated stage of investigation in paragraph nos. 67 and 68 of the case diary. Petitioner is in custody since 19.05.2016, but the petitioner was not put on test identification parade and nothing has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner.
