Petitioner seeks bail in Sugauli P.S. Case No. 85 of 2017 for the offences punishable under Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition and Excise Amendment Act, 2016.
It is alleged that in a cartoon, 40 pieces of Nepali Soufi liquor were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 10.04.2017. The petitioner has also got no criminal antecedent as mentioned in paragraph no. 3 of this petition.
Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner named above be released on bail
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.24662 of 2017 (2) dt.29-05-2017 2/2 upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Motihari in connection with Sugauli P.S. Case No. 85 of 2017.
