2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the land appertaining to Khata No. 209, Plot No. 2583, admeasuring an area 98 decimals had been acquired for construction of 'Ganga Jal Udavah Pariyojana', but no process has been initiated for acquisition of his land.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has filed a representation before respondent No.6, namely, the Circle Officer, Mohara, as contained in

Patna High Court CWJC No.9343 of 2023 dt.07-08-2023 2/2 Annexure-2 to the writ petition for redressal of his grievance, but the same is unattended.

4. Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner has not filed the representation before the appropriate forum. To grant any relief relating to compensation for the acquisition of land, the appropriate authority is respondent No.4, namely, the District Land Acquisition Officer, Gaya whereas the petitioner has filed the representation before respondent No.6, namely, the Circle Officer, Mohara.

In this background, the petitioner is directed to file a fresh representation before the respondent No.4, namely, the District Land Acquisition Officer, Gaya annexing all the relevant documents along with a copy of this order within a period of four weeks from today, whereupon, the respondent No.4 is directed to pass reasoned and speaking order on the representation of the petitioner within eight weeks thereafter.

6. With the above observation and direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
