JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 01-05-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs :- " (i) For issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent authorities specifically to respondent no. 4 to disposed of the second appeal filed by petitioner dated 08.01.2022 through speed post, being aggrieved and dissatisfied with the act of respondents no.5 by not providing any decision in terms of the Right to Information Act.

(ii) For issuance of a writ/order/direction to

Patna High Court CWJC No.10681 of 2022(2) dt.01-05-2023 2/2 the respondent no. 4 to provide the information sought by the petitioner within statutory period in accordance with law.

(iii) For issuance of a writ/order/direction to call for the records from the respondent no. 4 and issue a writ of certiorari commanding and directing the respondents to reply as to why not the appeal filed by the petitioner has not been disposed off yet as per the Act."

After some arguments, the learned counsel for the petitioners seeks not to press the present writ petition, however, seeks liberty on behalf of the petitioners to avail such other alternative remedies, as are otherwise available under the law. Liberty so sought, is granted.
