Having regard to the nature of allegation against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections-333, 353, 307, 387/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act, this Court by taking into account that the petitioner has also got criminal antecedent is not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

That being so, the prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is hereby rejected.

Keeping in view that the petitioner claims to be a man aged about 70 years, if he surrenders, his prayer for bail shall be considered by the Court below and would be disposed of on the same day.
