This is a case registered under Sections 399, 402 of Indian Penal Code and 25(1-b)A/26/35 of Arms Act. Counsel for the petitioner submits that on the basis of signature taken on blank paper by the police, the confessional statement has been prepared and he has been implicated in the present case. He further submits that though the FIR shows recovery of a country made pistol and three live cartridges but the petitioner categorically denied any such recovery from his possession. Prior to the instant case the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 28.11.2016.
