Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under section 273 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 47(a), 30(a) of the Bihar Excise (Amendment) Act.

Six bottles Indian made foreign liquor are said to have been recovered from the conscious possession of the petitioner but submission on behalf of the petitioner is that nothing was recovered from his conscious possession and, as a matter of fact, present case is nothing but only highhandedness of the police. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances as well as submissions of the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Addl.
