JUSTICE ADITYA KUMAR TRIVEDI ORAL ORDER 16-12-2016 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as learned APP.

In the dead of the night, the vehicle through which the petitioners along with others were moving, was intercepted by the police and during course thereof, the police saw one person taking wine who managed to escape while remaining were apprehended including both the petitioners.

On search, one bottle of Officers' Choice and six pieces of cigarettes along with cash appertaining to Rs. 5,500/- were seized from the vehicle.

In the aforesaid background coupled with period of detention since 06.09.2016 as well as absence of criminal antecedents as disclosed under para-3 of the petition, petitioners,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.49484 of 2016 (2) dt.16-12-2016 namely, Ravi Shankar Kumar and Bhim Das are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of SDJM, Samastipur in connection with Mufassil (Samastipur) PS Case No. 261/2016.
