The petitioner seeks bail in Bettiah Muffasil P.S. Case No. 639/2018, instituted for offence under Section(s) 379 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner is not named in the written report. It is alleged in the written report that motorcycle of informant was stolen by some unknown persons. It has come in the impugned order that from the confessional statement of petitioner recorded in para 14 of case diary, it appears that this petitioner was arrested by the police with stolen motorcycle. In para 18 of case diary police has mentioned about seizure-list.

Keeping in view the period of custody spent by petitioner, prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Bettiah Muffasil P.S. Case No. 639/2018, subject to the conditions that both the bailors shall be the close relative of the petitioner.
