The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498A, 494 of the Indian Penal Code and 3/4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.

The basic accusation is of torture for nonfulfillment of dowry demand by the husband of the informant and performed second marriage.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has never married with Navin Chandra @ Navin Singh, the husband of the informant. Considering the thrust of accusation is against the husband of the informant and petitioner being unmarried girl,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.30148 of 2015 (2) dt.29-07-2015 let the above named petitioner be released on bail in the event of his arrest or surrender before the learned court below within a period of twelve weeks from today, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Gaya in connection with Konch P.S. Case No. 337 of 2013, subject to conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Indian Penal Code.
