The matter relates to Purnaihiya PS Case No. 131 of 2020 (Sessions Trial No. 33 of 2021) instituted under Sections 201, 304(B) and 34 of the Indian Penal Code which is presently pending before the court of learned Sessions Judge, Sheohar. As per the allegation, the informant's niece was married to the petitioner herein in 2018 and from day one, he along with his mother and father used to demand motorcycle and a gold chain and as the same was not received by them on the fateful day (14.09.2020), it is alleged that kerosene oil was poured on her body and she was set on fire.
