By the order dated 06.05.2015, the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Vaishali at Hajipur directed the husband petitioner to pay Rs.5,000 as monthly maintenance under Section 24 of the Hindu Marriage Act in Matrimonial Case No.275 of 2012.

From perusal of the impugned order, it appears that the Court below has considered the fact that the wife-respondent is suffering from Cancer and her condition is pitiable. In view of the above facts, when the Court below has directed to pay only Rs.5,000 per month, this court in exercise of supervisory jurisdiction cannot hold a panchayati so as to negotiate the amount to be paid by the petitioner. Thus, I find no reason to interfere with the impugned
