The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Sessions Trial No. 117 of 2016 arising out of Kanti P.S. Case No. 354 of 2013, registered under Sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

The prayer for bail of the petitioner was rejected earlier on 15.07.2016 passed in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 19878 of 2016. The Chargesheet has already been submitted in this case and petitioner is in custody since 12.01.2016. Similarly situated co-accused, namely, Pankaj Mishra has already been allowed bail by a co-ordinate Bench of this Case vide Criminal Miscellaneous No. 18641 of 2016, dated 19.07.2016.
