JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR ORAL ORDER 14-08-2019 A report was called for regarding the stage of the case in Bidupur P.S. Case No. 60 of 2017. The report has since been received and kept at 'Flag-A'. It appears that charges have been framed on 19.07.2019 and summons have been issued to the witnesses for evidence. The next date in the case at the time of submission of the report was fixed at 01.08.2019.

Regard being had to the fact that the petitioner was found seated in a vehicle by which 200 kgs. of Ganja was being transported, I am not inclined to grant bail to him.

No.39734 of 2019(3) dt.14-08-2019 2/2 However, taking into account the fact that the petitioner has remained in jail since 27.02.2017, the trial court is directed to conclude the trial preferably within a period of six months, failing which the petitioner would have the liberty to approach this Court again for grant of bail.

The petition stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction.
